Dr. Deen is a Professor Emeritus at the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Minnesota. His work in research, teaching and extension has been in epidemiology and economics, especially in populations of swine. He has focused on measurement and optimization across competing needs in animal agriculture and human flourishing. Previously, John was on faculty at North Carolina State University and in swine practice in Ontario. Dr. Deen earned his DVM and PhD from the University of Guelph and gained board certification in the American College of Veterinary Practitioners and the American College of Animal Welfare.

Dr. Gordon Spronk is a native of the Pipestone, Minnesota agricultural community. Upon completion of his education with a DVM degree at the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Minnesota in 1981, he returned to Pipestone to practice at Pipestone Veterinary Services. Dr. Spronk lives near Pipestone, and has three children; Courtney, Jordan, and Morgan. He enjoys spending time with his children, and grandchildren.

中國農(nóng)業(yè)大學(xué)教授、博士生導(dǎo)師。中國畜牧業(yè)協(xié)會豬業(yè)分會執(zhí)行會長。1987~1990年留學(xué)于德國慕尼黑工業(yè)大學(xué)，獲博士學(xué)位。從事豬重要性狀的分子機理解析和功能基因研究、生豬遺傳改良技術(shù)研發(fā)應(yīng)用與新品種配套系選育、規(guī)模化養(yǎng)豬技術(shù)研究與推廣等教學(xué)科研工作。獲國家科技進(jìn)步獎二等獎1項，省部級科技獎一等獎2項、二等獎4項和三等獎2項，北京市高校教學(xué)成果獎2項。擔(dān)任中國畜牧業(yè)協(xié)會豬業(yè)分會執(zhí)行會長、全國畜禽遺傳改良計劃咨詢委員會成員、全國畜牧業(yè)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)化技術(shù)委員會觀察員，國家生豬產(chǎn)業(yè)技術(shù)體系原崗位科學(xué)家，國家畜禽遺傳資源委員會原委員、豬專業(yè)委員會原主任委員，全國生豬遺傳改良計劃專家組原副組長，全國畜牧業(yè)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)化技術(shù)委員會原委員，中國畜牧獸醫(yī)學(xué)會原理事、動物遺傳育種學(xué)分會原理事、養(yǎng)豬學(xué)分會原常務(wù)理事，中國畜牧業(yè)協(xié)會原理事。陜西百人計劃入選者，泰山產(chǎn)業(yè)領(lǐng)軍人才, 生豬育種教學(xué)科研功臣。2019年9月獲中共中央 國務(wù)院 中央軍委“慶祝中華人民共和國成立70周年紀(jì)念章”。
Dr. Aiguo Wang is a professor at China Agricultural University. He is currently the Executive Presidentof National Swine Industry Association, CAAA. Dr. Wang received his Ph.D. from the Munich University of Technologyin 1990. From 1982-1987, he was an Assistant Lecturer of Animal Breeding and Genetics, Department of Animal Science, Shanxi Agricultural University; 1991-1992, Postdoctoral andLecturerof Department of Animal Science, Beijing Agricultural University. Since 1993, he has been an Associate Professorand Professor of Animal Genetics and Breeding/Pig Production, College of Animal Science and Technology, China Agricultural University. 徐利，男，1989年畢業(yè)于西北農(nóng)林大學(xué)，碩士學(xué)歷，正高級畜牧師，現(xiàn)任北京中育種豬有限責(zé)任公司總經(jīng)理。大學(xué)畢業(yè)后就從事養(yǎng)豬工作，三十年如一日，堅守在養(yǎng)豬生產(chǎn)一線，同時不斷學(xué)習(xí)新的科學(xué)技術(shù)，與中國規(guī)模化豬場一起不斷成長。
2022年農(nóng)業(yè)農(nóng)村部先進(jìn)工作者、2022年“國企楷模、北京榜樣”十大人物獲得者、2021年“首都勞動獎?wù)隆鲍@得者、2021年首都市民學(xué)習(xí)之星、2020年度首農(nóng)食品集團(tuán)“勞動模范”、2018年獲得國家科學(xué)技術(shù)進(jìn)步獎二等獎、多次榮獲全國農(nóng)牧漁業(yè)豐收獎農(nóng)業(yè)技術(shù)推廣成果獎、國家科技部科技進(jìn)步獎、農(nóng)業(yè)部科技進(jìn)步獎、首農(nóng)食品集團(tuán)科技進(jìn)步獎、成果推廣獎等。
Xu Li, male, graduated from Northwest A&F University in 1989 with a master's degree. He is currently serves as the General Manager of Beijing Zhongyu Breeding Pig Co., Ltd. After graduating from university, he has been engaged in pig farming for thirty years, remaining dedicated to the front line of pig production while continuously learning new scientific and technological advancements, growing together with large-scale pig farms in China.
He has won many honors. In 2022, he was honored as an Advanced Worker by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and one of the Top Ten Model of State owned Enterprises and Beijing Role Models. In 2021, he received the Capital Labor Medal and was recognized as Capital Citizen Learning Star. In 2020, he was awarded the Model Worker of Beijing Capital Agribusiness & Foods Group. And in 2018, he received the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award.He has also received numerous honors, such as the National Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, and Fisheries Harvest Award, Agricultural Technology Promotion Achievement Award, etc.
